On December 14th, the W.N. Twolan & McAllister 132 attempted to depart Thunder Bay. Once they got out into Lake Superior the winds were found to be to high and the waves too large so they returned to the harbour. Once they re-entered Thunder Bay harbour they secured at the old Canadian National ore dock which is adjacent to the Northern Wood Products facility, the dock where the Radium Yellowknife & barges usually load packaged timber.
