The large pusher tug Everlast is seen in this photograph as she was being towed out of the Welland Canal at Port Weller by Alice A during the early afternoon hours of December 3rd, 2000. She had arrived at Port Weller earlier in the year on June 8th, and had remained there for most of the shipping season. She was enroute for Hamilton where she would eventually undergo an extensive refit prior to re-entering serivice late in 2001 with a new barge named Norman McLeod
