The barge Milwaukee is seen in this photograph with the tug Ruby secured along side the bridge abutment excavation site in Rochester, New York on May 31st, 2001. They had completed loading this deck cargo of mud on the 30th and while they were enroute to the Welland Canal on Lake Ontario the cargo shifted and began spilling over the side.. It was feared that the barge might capsize so they returned to Rochester to correct the load. This photograph was submitted by Scott Sullivan who was the chief structural engineer for the construction of the new Stutson Street bridge over the Genesee River in the City of Rochester
