The straight deck bulk carrier Beechglen is seen in this photograph just after she had suffered a major hull collapse at Cardinal, Ontario. Her hull buckled and cracked as she was being unloaded of corn during the early morning hours of April 30th of 1991. This photograph was taken on May 1st and by May 30th, the ship had been raised, temporarily repaired and towed to Port Weller Drydocks where permanent repairs were done. Photograph by Capt. Alain Gindroz
