The retired Great Lakes steamer Kinsman Enterprise (1) is seen in this photograph
as she was laid up in Port Huron sometime during the summer of 1987. She was being used
as a grain storage barge at the time. In 1989 after serving as a barge for 10 years, the
1906-built hull was finally sold for scrapping overseas. She was towed down the Welland
Canal on August 29th, 1989.
