The 1924-built bulk carrier Blanche Hindman is seen in this photograph as she was transiting upbound in the Welland Canal during the morning hours of April 27th, 1975. At the time it was taken she was sailing southbound in the canal likely destined for Thunder Bay to load grain. She later sailed as Lac Ste Anne and was scrapped in Port Colborne in 1986.
