The Canada Steamship Lines self-unloaders Manitoulin and J.W. McGiffin are seen in this photograph secured alongside the huge coal collier Mineral Europe on July 17th, 1991. At the time it was taken they were all at anchor in Sept-Iles Harbour, Quebec and the the two CSL ships were unloading coal directly into the 1986 built, 87,700 Gross ton coal ship. Mineral Europe measured 144 feet in width!!

At the time this photograph was added to the archives, Manitoulin was in retirement, J.W. McGiffin was rebuilt and sailing as CSL Niagara and Mineral Europe was sailing as (b) Star Europe
