The canaller William C. Warren is seen in this photograph transiting downbound in the Welland Canal
during the afternoon hours of July 18th, 1959. At the time it was taken she was sailing northbound in the
canal and was heading for lock 1 which is located in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.

She was built in Scotland in 1925 and named after a prominant turn of the century Buffalo businessman.
The ship sailed until 1965 and was then sold for scrapping in Quebec during 1965.
