The straight deck bulk carrier A.S. Glossbrenner is seen in this photograph as she sailing upbound in the Welland Canal during the afternoon hours of a day in July of 1984. At the time it was taken she was approaching lock 2 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. She was renamed Algogulf in 1987 and in 1989 she was converted to a self-unloader and renamed Algosteel.
