The Algoeast is seen in this photograph transiting upbound in the Welland Canal during
the afternoon hours of March 29th, 1998. This was her first voyage upbound through the canal after having been
renamed by Algoma Tankers Inc. At the time it was taken she was sailing southbound in the canal above
lock 2 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.

The was previously Texaco Brave, Le Brave and Imperial St. Lawrence.
