** In 1985 Alexander was re-converted back to a passenger vessel
** In 1998 the ship was apparently converted into a yacht
** The 2000-2001 Lloyds Index records her owner as being Madere Ltd., London, England and her manager as Consolidated Marine Management Inc. of Greece
** Since being renamed Alexander this former cruise ship has been the personal yacht of the Greek shipping tycoon, John Latsis.. His ties with the British Royal family were very strong and the ship often played host to Royal guests like Prince Charles in the Greek Isles.. Late in 2003 John Latsis passed away and the future of Alexander is unknown. She has been painted blue for many years

No doubt this vessel has much history.. If you know more about her and would like to contribute to thie page please Email me
