The 1977/78-built, 15,290-dwt, SD-14 class 9,182-grt general cargo ship Qing Jiang is seen in this photograph while she was lying at anchor off Singapore on June 27th, 2000.

She was built in Southwick, Sunderland, England by Austin & Pickersgill Ltd. as Cluden for Matheson & Company Ltd., London, England. She sailed as such until 1982 when she was sold to the Guangzhou Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO Guangzhou), China and renamed Qing Jiang. When this picture was added to the archives in 9/2002 she was still listed as operational in the Far East as Qing Jiang.
