** Prinsenborg was originally ordered by B&N Nordsjofrakt AB, Skarhamn, Sweden as the second of a series of four sisters.. After delivery of the first vessel, Nordon B&N encountered financial troubles and was unable to fund the remaining three. Wagenborg subsequently purchased the remaining three ships and Prinsenborg was first of the three to be delivered. Nassauborg, the 3rd vessel, will enter service during the Spring of 2005.

** Prinsenborg's tween deck, which consists of 12 pontoons, can be assembled in all three of her holds making one complete deck inside her holds. Her holds were designed with fittings to allow the tween deck pontoons to be placed at two different levels according to the requirements of her cargo.
