** 30 July 1997 - Oscar Castor was withdrawn from service and laid up at Constantza, Romania
** 25 February 2000 - Oscar Castor arrived in tow at Aliaga from Constantza
** Marine News (The World Ship Society) reported in June of 2000 that Oscar Castor may have arrived at Aliaga, Turkey with unrepaired fire damage of some kind dating back to January of 1983.. Can anyone elaborate on this??
