The 1983-built, 6,060-dwt, 5,875-grt, refridgerated cargo ship Nova Scotia is seen in this photograph while she was underway off Calshot, England during February of 1990.

She was built in Saiki, Japan by Honda Zosen as Hokusei Maru for Donan Sekiyu, Japan. She sailed as such until May of 1986 when she was sold, renamed Nova Scotia and reflagged from Japan to Cyprus. When this picture was added to the archives in September of 2002 she was still operational under that name.
