The 1981-built, 65,592-dwt, 31,010-grt, iron ore strengthened bulk carrier Northern Light is seen in this photograph while she was underway at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada during December of 1986.

She was built in Ulsan, South Korea by the Hyundai Heavy Industries Company as Northern Light for Timor Navigation Ltd., Liberia. She sailed as Northern Light until early in 1999 when she was sold to the Lucky Sailors Company Ltd., Greece and renamed Sweet Lady II. When this picture was added to the archives she was still listed as operational under this name for Eastern Mediterranean Maritime.
