The 1976-built, 72,203-dwt, 38,325-grt iron ore strengthened bulk carrier Nikitas Roussos is seen in this photograph while she was underway at New Orleans, U.S.A. on October 17th, 1991.

She was built in England at the Sunderland Shipbuilding drydock and sailed as Nikitas Roussos for the Greek based, Venizelos Group until 1995 when she was sold to Lexicon Shipping Co. Ltd. and renamed Klia. In May of 1999 after a 23 year career she was sold for scrapping in China for around $1.3 million (US). Photograph by Rene Beauchamp courtesy Willem VanMaanen's collection.
