The 1966-built, 2,233-dwt, roll on / roll off heavy load carrier New Generation is seen in this photograph while she was underway in England somewhere during August of 1990.

She was built in England and sailed originally as Kingsnorth Fisher. In 1990 she was renamed New Generation by James Fisher and in 2001 her name was shortned to New Gen likely in preparation for her sale for scrap. On December 19th of 2001 she arrived at Alang, India where she was later dismantled for scrap. Photograph courtesy Willem VanMaanen's collection.
