The 1965-built, 31,293-dwt, 18,083-grt bulk carrier, New Frontiers is seen in this photograph while she was lying at anchor possibly at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada during the early 1970s.

She was built in Cork, Ireland at the Verolme Cork Dockyard and entered service in 1965 as Maas. It is possible that she was only launched bearing this name because Lloyd's records her renaming in 1965 to New Frontiers by the Greyhound Shipping Service. If you know this ship's career following this point please Email me. Photograph courtesy Willem VanMaanen's collection.
