The 1984-built, 33,325-dwt, iron ore strengthened bulk carrier New Duquesa is seen in this photograph while she was lying at anchor at Singapore on December 31st, 1992.

She was built in Japan and sailed under the name Sanko Duquesa until 1986 before being renamed New Duquesa. In 1995 she became Chettinad Glory and when this photograph was added to the archives she was still listed as operational as such for the South India Corporation Ltd., India.
