The 1973-built, 25,369-dwt, container ship Neptune Emerald is seen in this photograph while she was lying at anchor in Singapore on February 17th, 1976.

She was built in Turku, Finland and she sailed through her career under the names Neptune Emerald (91), Ibn Sina (97), NOL Emerald (97) and Dragon Kimodo until she was sold for scrapping. On December 22nd, 1999 she arrived off Alang, India and several days later she was beached. There the well travelled ship was cut up for scrap. Photograph courtesy Willem VanMaanen's collection.
