Nedlloyd Westerkerk - Holland

The 1967-built, 10,710-grt, general cargo, vegetable oil and chemical carrier Nedlloyd Westerkerk is seen in this photograph while she was lying at anchor at Singapore on February 13th, 1987.

She was built in Holland and sailed through her career under the names Westerkerk (78), Nedlloyd Westerkerk (84), Westerkerk (86) and Nedlloyd Westerkerk (86) until she was sold for scrap. She arrived at Kaohsuing, Taiwan on March 4th, 1987 where she was later beached. There she was dismantled and her steel sent away for recycling. Photograph courtesy Willem VanMaanen's collection.
