The 1968-built, 7,382-grt, general cargo, vegetable oil and chemical carrier Nedlloyd Waalekerk is seen in this photograph while she was underway sometime during the early 1980s. The date and exact location of the photograph is unknown.

She was built in Holland and sailed through her career under the names Waalekerk (78), Nedlloyd Waalekerk (84) and Waalekerk until she was sold for scrap. She arrived at Kaohsiung, Taiwan on April 27th, 1986 and was reduced to scrap through the months that followed. Photograph courtesy Willem VanMaanen's collection.
