The 1971-built, 12,205-dwt, general cargo vessel Nedlloyd Niger is seen in this photograph while she was underway possibly in Holland sometime during 1984. The exact date and location are not known.

She was built in West Germany and has sailed through her career as Nedlloyd Niger (84), Niger, (84), Hapag Lloyd Brazil (86), Nedlloyd Niger (87), Mercury Cove (94), and Manley Exeter. This ended up being her final name. On November 20th, 1999 she arrived off the beaches of Alang, India where she later ran herself aground. There she was reduced to scrap.
