This ship was built in the United States and entered service in 1960 as James Lykes. She sailed for her entire career under this name. Early in 1995 her usefullness came to and end and on February 28th, she anchored off the beaches of Alang, India. Several days later on March 2 she was beached and crews began cutting her up for scrap shortly thereafter.
