This ship was built in West Germany during 1968 and entered service in 1969 as (a) Mosel Express. She sailed under this name until May of 1984 when she joined the Lykes Brothers fleet under the name (b) Adabelle Lykes. 12 years of service followed however the end finally came in May of 1996. She anchored off Alang, India on May 17th, 1996 and was finally run aground on the beaches there on the 19th. On the 30th crews began cutting her hull into recyclable pieces.
