* Laid up at Bruges, Belgium sometime in the mid 1980s in retirement and she was used as a barge - Any more information???
* 29 November 1988 - Dashava departed Bruges under tow of the 1977-built, 645-grt, Russian deep sea tug Bizon
* 30 December 1988 - The tow passed through the Suez Canal enroute to India
* 20 January 1989 - They arrived off Alang and Dashava was subsequently beached. Workers from Shirdi Steel Traders, India began cutting the old hull up for scrap in February of that year
