The 1976-built, 7,923-dwt, 6,157-grt, general cargo and container carrier Arc Minos is seen in this photograph while she was underway in Maumee Bay during October of 1988. She was inbound for Toledo, Ohio which is located on the western end of Lake Erie - part of the North American Great Lakes system. Photo by Jim Hoffman.

She was built in Rostock, East Germany by VEB Schiffswerft "Neptun" and she was to enter service under the name Jodew. Before she entered service though she was renamed Bochica. In the time since her construction she has sailed as Bochica (78), Bougival (79), Arc Minos (89), Troodos (90), Olympus (90), Clipper Pacific (2001) and when this picture was added to the archives in 12/2002 she was still operational as Caesar for the Alma Myra Transport & Shipping Company Ltd.
