The 1970-built, 15,364-dwt, 9,025-grt, SD-14 class general cargo ship Aegis Trade is seen in this photograph while she was lying at anchor off Singapore discharging cargo during March of 1975.

She was built in Skaramanga, Greece by Hellenic Shipyards Co. for the Aegis Shipping Company Ltd as Aegis Trade. She sailed as Aegis Trade until June of 1985 when she was sold to the Titisee Navigation Company Ltd., Cyprus and renamed Titisee. Service under this name proved to be quite short however and by October of 1986 she had reached the end of her career. After only 16 years Titisee was dispatched to the scrapyards at Gadani Beach, Pakistan where she finally arrived on November 23rd, 1986. Her final sale for scrap generated around $357,000 (US) for her owners.
