The 1970/71-built, 15,174-dwt, 9,112-grt, general cargo ship Acritas is seen in this photograph while she was underway possibly in the St. Lawrence Seaway during June of 1974.

She was built in Tokyo, Japan by the Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Company Ltd. as Acritas. Through her career she sailed as Acritas (88), Odyanna H (90) and Eleni until her retirement in 1998. She was sold during October of 1998 by her final operational owner Marisk Shipping Co. Ltd. (Alliance Management S.A.), Malta to Indian shipbreakers for around $435,000 (US). She arrived at Alang, India on November 21st, 1998 where she was beached and later reduced to scrap.
